Is Lemon Juice a Good Fit for the Keto Diet?

Everyone loves a refreshing glass of lemon juice on a summer afternoon.

There are a thousand ways to make it, and there is no wrong way. It not only tastes great but is also nutritious.

Keto, according to Healthline, is slowly becoming the diet of choice for every other teenager.

It puts a lot of restrictions on what you eat. So can Keto and lemon juice fit? Is Lemon Juice Keto? Let's find out!

Is Lemon Juice Keto Friendly?

WebMD states that the Standard Keto Diet or SKD only allows 50 grams of carbohydrates as the daily intake.

Even 1 gram of extra carbs can ruin the diet. Therefore to check if lemon juice meets the criteria, we need to have a look at its nutritional values:

As per Medicalnewstoday, this is a considerably high amount keeping in mind that the daily limit of 50 grams.

But the beauty of lemon juice is that you can make it any way you want.

It would be best to make some tiny adjustments to make a glass or even a lemon juice bottle free and Keto friendly.

Just replace traditional processed sugar with keto sweeteners, and you're all set!
